The wondrous 1980s fantasy classic, based on Michael Ende's beloved novel, returns to the big screen. Young Bastian, a lonely boy escaping reality and school bullies, discovers a mysterious, ancient book in an old bookstore. As he gets lost in its pages, he is drawn into the magical kingdom of Fantasia, which faces an existential threat from the dark and destructive "Nothing." To save the realm and the Childlike Empress, Bastian must become part of the story himself, joining forces with the brave warrior Atreyu and Falkor the flying luckdragon.
