The Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival (TISFF) will take place this year from June 23 to June 30, 2026, at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque and throughout the city, in a festive edition celebrating its 40th anniversary! The festival will feature a rich program of local and international student films, alongside special screenings of short and feature films, masterclasses with international guests of honor, parties, and pitching events for production grants. Established in 1986 by students from the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University, TISFF has gained a strong reputation and prestige over the years while maintaining its unique quality as a young, dynamic, and bold cinematic cultural event. Produced by 250 student volunteers passionate about filmmaking, the festival is recognized by CILECT (The International Association of Film and Television Schools) as the largest and most important festival of its kind in the world. It has become the primary meeting place for film students globally, serving as a platform for new ideas, contemporary cinematic discourse, and an irreplaceable forum for young Israeli and international filmmakers who fill the Cinematheque theaters with a fresh and vibrant spirit. Over the years, TISFF has become one of the most significant cinematic cultural events in Israel and specifically in Tel Aviv, opening doors, granting opportunities, and promoting the future generation of Israeli cinema.
